3rd Congress on Ionic Liquids

Welcome... After very successful meetings in Salzburg in 2005 (COIL-1) and Yokohama in 2007 (COIL-2), the ionic liquids community will gather in Cairns May 31 – June 4 2009 for the 3rd Congress on Ionic Liquids.The program will feature a wide range of Plenary and Invited papers covering the ever broadening field of the science and application of ionic liquids. Following the style of COIL-1 the meeting’s oral sessions will comprise plenary and invited presentations. Two major poster sessions will provide an opportunity for the presentation of contributed papers.
Commercial suppliers and industrial users of ionic liquids from all over the world will also participate in the meeting.
A number of Pre-Symposia workshops will be organised prior to the main meeting for those wishing to participate in more focused discussion of individual topics.
